This is the website of the Anglican churches of Caio, Llansawel, Talley & Abergorlech.
Until January 2015 the churches of Caio, Llansawel, Talley and Abergorlech were a Benefice in the Deanery of Llandovery. Since then the group of churches has been part of the Bro Dyfri Ministry Area. From January 2016, the Bro Dyfri Ministry Area is in the enlarged Deanery of Llandeilo & Llandovery in the Archdeaconry of Carmarthen in the Diocese of St Davids of the Church in Wales. The Ministry Area, in rural Carmarthenshire, comprises fifteen parishes, each with its own church. The Bro Dyfri Ministry Area is at the southern tip of the Cambrian Mountains and not far from the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is near the market towns of Llandovery, Llandeilo and Lampeter and the shopping centres of Carmarthen and Swansea are within easy reach.
When this website was created, the four churches made up the Benefice of Cynwyl Gaeo – hence the website URL. For logistical reasons this URL has been retained even though now the churches are part of the Bro Dyfri Ministry Area.
By clicking on the links across the top of the page you will find the times of services at each of our churches and also be able to discover a little about the individual parishes, as well as who’s who.
